I've been dreaming of a... KERTHUNK

*runs around like a mad working thing OMG*
Took the littlies to see Enchanted yesterday, which made me laugh immoderately. I kind of want to see it again...also, keep humming the song (the 'Happy Working Song') that Giselle sings while attempting to call the merry woodland creatures to clean Patrick Dempsey's grungy Manhattan flat.
Am contemplating a horrific LJ panto crossover, where I get
jonem to play Giselle (on account of commitment to cleanliness), and
ravurian for the pretty, vain, autocratic Prince.
Nathaniel: Sire, do you like yourself?
Prince Edward: What's not to like?
Hmm. That would leave me as either the Wicked Queen in the Susan Sarandon role, or, more realistically, the chipmunk.
Lalalalala. *thunk*

Date: 2008-01-03 04:56 pm (UTC)I really want to see it again. Actually, I would like to run over a hillside in a big white dress, but that would be even more tragic.

Date: 2008-01-04 10:45 am (UTC)I think there are certain songs that cause the gay gene to aurgasm. Srsly. I found myself singing "True Love's Kiss" at my desk yesterday. If I wasn't already out at work, that would've done it for sure.
Have added you to my f-list (which I was thinking about doing anyway, LOL) so now you can see the entry

Date: 2008-01-06 12:09 am (UTC)I also was singing "True Love's Kiss" at work yesterday, though as I work in theatre, being out is not anywhere near as scary as being in.

I've Been Dreaming Of My True Love's Kiss
Date: 2008-01-03 11:40 pm (UTC)that movie.
I got back to work on Monday after having seen the movie, walked into an utter mess of an office, and found myself running right back out the door trilling "Aaaaahaah, Aaaaahaaah!"
NO pigeons, rats, or cockroaches came to my aid, but the drunken homeless guy lying outside the door did mutter something about wanting to teach Amy Adams a thing or two.
Or perhaps he meant me. Whoever it was, it wasn't exactly kind. And no, he did not have a lovely smile.
Oh, and by the way? I'M Susan Sarandon. When my minion (sorry, deputy) arrived at work I greeted him with:
"Hello, Worthless."

Date: 2008-01-03 11:48 pm (UTC)I must admit, I found myself thinking, am I now so old that Susan Sarandon plays the Wicked Witch? Not that she was ever an ingenue...
If you ask ravurian nicely, he has the soundtrack, and, well, is so eager to spread the James-Marsden love thatI'm sure he's oblige.

Robert: [struggling to break free of her grasp] You're crazy!
Queen Narissa: No. Spiteful, vindictive, *very large*, but never crazy.

Ho hum. I think I'm going to have to see this - I've heard nothing but good reviews!
