I am completely embarrassed by how much I loooove Enchanted, which I saw for the second time yesterday, in Leicester Square's most minute venue. I particularly enjoyed Amy Adams' acting: the way that she sits and moves in the real world is so pefectly cartoonish. And James Marsden is just hilarious. Anyway. She deserves an award, which she won't get because it's a Disney comedy rather than a searing expose. For anyone who hasn't seen it yet and is feeling a bit Januaryish (*cough*
jonem*cough*), I can recommend it as seriously feelgood.
Was tempted to waltz across Leicester Square afterwards, but held it in, womanfully.
I finally got to peek at the January Sales. Dude. I have to say, they're no good for everyday crap, but my oh my, the discounts on middle/top end stuff are colossal. I bought this rather bizarre Vivienne Westwood-influenced skirt, reduced to £55 and didn't get around to showing the Usual Suspects, cos they might have made me take it back. I think it will work for my Bohemian Corporate Goth look. It has a slight dressing-up feel to it, but interesting.
